Computer Science and Information Technology of the second up. The 11th August calls for intensive learning course "Computer Networks".
The course "Computer Networks", offers general information on computer architecture and mechanisms of action.
The course covers the following topics:
• The OSI (Open Systems Interconnection reference model-based).
• Internetworking facilities and equipment: Concentrators (HUB), bridges (bridge) and switches (switch), routers (router)
• Local and global network standards and technologies (Ethernet, Token Ring, FDDI, X.25, ATM, etc.)
• Some types of wireless network addresses, VPN (virtual private network), as well as the most common protocols of TCP / IP stack.
The main objective of training is to provide knowledge, which allows to navigate computer networking technology and standards, spectrum and choose the one that suits them.
